PSU uses retention and graduation data from eight peer institutions* for comparison and context. The Consortium for Student Retention Data Exchange (CSRDE) collects the retention data for these comparators. The data are based on the first-year retention rates and six-year graduation rates of first-time, full-time freshmen.
The aggregate 1-year retention rate for all peer institutions (including PSU) remained relatively stable across the cohort years, ranging from 68% to 72%. The aggregate 6-year graduation rate for all peer institutions also remained stable across the cohort years, ranging from 36% to 38%.
