Initiative
Through its efforts toward improving the coherence of undergraduate degree requirements, departmental advising, and services provided by the Office of Graduate Studies, PSU will continue to make degree completion a priority. In addition, PSU will continue to offer degree programs in high demand for students and employers in the region.

Historical performance Test
Every year for the last ten years the size of the graduating class has increased. The average annual percentage increase over these years was 5.9%. The percentage growth has ranged from 2% in 2001/02 to 13% growth in 2002/03.
Actual performance
The 2003/04 class had a total of 4,390 graduates up almost 400 from previous year or a 12% increase in total graduates.
Sustained target
Two percent increase, of the average, per year to reach target of 3,450 by 2004/05.
Accelerated target
Three percent increase, of the average, per year to reach target of 3,762 by 2004/05.
